One day of pool training is required for the Open Water Diver Course. Unlike many facilities,
in an effort to save you travel time, we combine the pool sessions into one session of four to six hours rather than several
one hour sessions.
Pool sessions are very small group, very personalized programs and they fill up fast. Don't wait till the last
minute to get registered.
The Open Water Certification then requires two days of Open Water Training.
You would be welcome to complete the Open Water training, and gain certification at any of our Open Water training
facilities. Alternately, you may complete your training at any PADI Vacation Resort worldwide.
Look at the schedule below. Choose a pool training date that best fits your schedule.
Then, if you are completing the training with us, choose an Open Water training weekend. It's best,
but not required, to choose an Open Water weekend as soon as possible after completion of the pool training. The majority
of our Oregon divers choose to go up to Seattle for the ocean training weekend. The ocean training requires a Saturday
& Sunday of diving. The dives will take place in Seattle at one of the most popular dive sites in the Northwest.
If you are planning to finish the ocean diving at our Maui or Key Largo Facilities,
please choose pool training dates and notify us of the dates you will be available for ocean training. We will arrange
training for you during your vacation. We can also arrange for you to complete the pool training on vacation, as well
as the ocean dives. The Maui and Key Largo training can be arranged to fit your vacation schedule.
If you are interested in completing the training dives at a PADI Vacation Resort, you need not choose an Open Water training
weekend now. The list of available PADI Resorts can be found through the link at the bottom of the page.
Once you have found dates that will work for you, click on the Registration Procedures
page link in the left hand side bar. If you see no dates that will fit your schedule, please contact us. Through
our Private Diver Program we can often arrange other training dates that might work better for you, dependent upon pool &
instructor availability.
